High School English Teacher

Job Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate a commitment to education by responsibly teaching and nurturing students.
2. Adhere to all school regulations and management protocols, ensuring the timely and high-quality achievement of teaching objectives.
3. Collaborate with the Chinese English teacher on oral English training programs and share English teaching methodologies.
4. Support the school’s recruitment team by assisting with applicants’ oral English assessments.
5. Participate in school-organized English language events, such as English Day, outdoor activities, competitions, and class assessments.
6. Contribute to advanced classes and assist in drafting and revising English teaching materials for the school.
7. Attend monthly meetings to provide feedback and report on relevant teaching activities (attendance includes all foreign teachers, the teaching supervisor from Worlda Company, and the dean of the school’s teaching department).
8. Participate in bi-weekly meetings with the Chinese English teacher to collaboratively develop lesson plans.
9. Maintain office and classroom facilities in good condition and practice energy conservation. Any damages incurred will be the foreign teacher’s responsibility for compensation based on the assessed value.
10. Keep the classroom and office spaces clean and organized.

Job Requirements:

Compensation and Benefits Package:

• Salary (excluding benefits): 20,000-28,000 RMB per month (pre-tax)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM / 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
• Teaching Hours: Up to 20 hours per week
• Curriculum: IB-DP, A-levels, AP
• Accommodation: Furnished 1 or 2-bedroom apartment provided
• Food Allowance: Three paid meals per day
• Annual Flight Reimbursement: Up to 8,000 RMB
• Visa: Assistance and reimbursement for Work Permit, Residence Permit, and medical check-up fees
• Insurance: Health and accident insurance coverage
• Leave: Full paid national holidays, plus winter and/or summer holidays

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Age range: 22-55 years old
• Bachelor’s degree or higher (degree in Education preferred)
• Minimum of TEFL/TESOL 100+ hours certification (CELTA/DELTA/PGCE/QTS preferred)
• Experience working with primary, middle, or high school students; familiarity with IB, A-level, or DSE curricula is advantageous.
• Demonstrated understanding and ability to teach students of varying academic abilities.
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check.
• Due to visa regulations, English teaching positions are open to citizens of the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, or South Africa.
