Job Summary:

Wuhan Foreign Nationals School is seeking an experienced and dynamic International Principal to lead our kindergarten through grade 9 educational program. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to fostering a supportive and innovative learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds. The principal will be responsible for setting the vision for the school, leading instructional strategies, managing staff, and ensuring an excellent educational experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

– Leadership and Vision:
– Develop and communicate a clear educational vision that prioritizes student learning and well-being.
– Foster a positive school culture that promotes inclusivity, respect, and enthusiasm for learning.

– Curriculum and Instruction:
– Oversee curriculum development and implementation in alignment with international education standards and best practices.
– Ensure high-quality teaching through systematic evaluation, support, and professional development for all staff.

– Staff Management:
– Recruit, train, and supervise teaching and administrative staff, fostering their professional growth and accountability.
– Build a collaborative and motivated team that works toward common goals for student achievement.

– Implement assessment practices to monitor student achievement, ensuring data-informed decisions to improve instruction.
– Address the diverse needs of learners through tailored educational programs and services.

– Community Engagement:

– Operational Management:

Qualifications:

– Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
– Proven experience as a principal or in a similar leadership role in an international school setting.
– Strong understanding of international education standards, curriculum development, and instructional practices.
– Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse set of stakeholders, including students, parents, and faculty.
– Proficiency in English; knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage.
– Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
