About Wenzhou Wellsong Academy
Wenzhou Wellsong Academy is a high-quality private school offering fifteen years of continuous education, located in Yongjia, a historic county in Wenzhou. It was established through a strategic partnership agreement between Zhejiang Wellsong Education Technology Group, the Yongjia County People’s Government, and East China Normal University. The academy has two campuses, Sanjiang and Oubei, covering a total area of 280 acres and including preschool, compulsory education, and senior high school.
The Sanjiang campus has 30 elementary school classes and 18 kindergarten classes, utilizing small-class teaching and personalized education. It opened on September 1, 2021. The Oubei campus’s middle school section opened in September 2023.
The academy’s educational approach is learner-centered and emphasizes a “5H Curriculum System.” It offers school-based courses for individual student development, focusing on cultivating learning ability, creativity, leadership skills, aesthetic appreciation, and self-management. The aim is to develop well-rounded individuals with a global perspective and a sense of responsibility.
Wenzhou Wellsong Academy has a strong teaching faculty composed primarily of experienced backbone teachers, including special-grade teachers, provincial and municipal renowned teachers, overseas returnees, subject leaders, award-winning teachers, and mid-to-senior level educators.
The school has established the Wellsong Confucius Academy to promote Chinese cultural understanding through lectures, reading, and exhibitions. It also runs a program for cultivating top innovative talents and aims to connect home, school, and community in its educational efforts.
